Scott M. Welch

Attorney

Kelly joined Welch Law LLC in September 2016 as the firm's Office Manager.  Kelly adds nearly two decades of management experience and administrative skills to the firm.

Prior to joining Welch Law, Kelly worked as an executive assistant, child-care provider, and as a financial manager in the U.S. Air Force. Kelly's experience, customer service, and attention to detail make her a key addition to the team.  Kelly not only encompasses the core values of Welch Law, she helped create them.

Kelly is the proud mother of four, a certified personal trainer, and a certified "foodie."

"You are the most laid back attorney I know."

"You actually care."

"No one has ever explained that to me."

Scott envisioned a new way of practicing law that would help alleviate the dread some people feel as they sought the help of an attorney. He reflected on his childhood, his military service,  and role as an advisor; then spoke with mentors, past clients, and others about the challenges they faced when hiring a lawyer or law firm. Billable hours, egos, and lack of empathy ranked near the top of the list. While not a shock, it solidified Scott's resolve in finding a better way. Welch Law, we didn't invent the law... we just reinvented how its practiced. Approachable, team oriented, flat fee services to help our customers find peace of mind in their estate planning and small business matters.

Scott is a seasoned estate planning lawyer, having helped hundreds of individuals and families plan for their future. Rather than taking a one size fits all approach, Scott works with his clients to help them develop their own expectations and then recommends the legal tools to help them achieve their goals in retirement, avoiding probate, and beyond.

As a business lawyer, Scott helps business owners protect their investments by becoming part of the business advisory team. Working in conjunction, not competition, with financial advisors, CPAs, coaches, and owners, he helps develop and implement legal strategies designed to achieve the business owners' goals. From single member start-ups to dozens of employees, Scott provides legal tools, advice, and strategies to help your team succeed.
